Colorado Parks & Wildlife
Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) manages the state’s parks, wildlife, and outdoor recreation areas, protecting Colorado’s natural resources while making them accessible for everyone to enjoy. With 42 state parks, more than 350 wildlife areas, and countless miles of trails, CPW provides opportunities for hiking, fishing, boating, camping, wildlife viewing, and environmental education.
As part of the Generation Wild of the Pikes Peak Region Coalition, CPW helps connect kids and families to the outdoors through hands-on learning, guided activities, and nature-based programs. From teaching outdoor skills to fostering conservation awareness, CPW works to ensure that the next generation experiences the beauty, adventure, and responsibility that come with exploring Colorado’s great outdoors.
